Please note the following features in the revised Bond Case Briefs Website & Newsletter:
- Pdf Function (see icon).
- Print Function (see icon).
- Search Function (box in top right corner).
- Legible Font – We anticipate a rash of cancellations now that the publication is actually readable. Please let us down gently.
- Improved Mobile Formatting – At least that’s what they’re telling me.
- Classified Ads – Please feel free to submit classified ads for publication. Please format them as you’d like to see them appear (title and body), as we’d like to limit the formatting on our end. The current plan is that we’ll run ads until instructed to delete them. I suppose we’d prefer that the ads pertain to legal matters, but hey, we all need to sell a couch now and again. There will be no charge for this service unless/until it becomes a colossal administrative hassle.
- Revised Categories – We have folded “Exempt Organizations” into “Tax.” The coverage will remain the same. “Finance & Accounting” is now simply “Finance.” Again, the coverage will remain the same.
- Password Protection – This is important, so pay attention! Anyone in possession of the newsletter who clicks on a link will be sent directly to the corresponding item on the website without the need for any type of password or registration. The website itself will be going private. In order to access the website directly, the only requirement will be a one-word password, which will be changed every six months or so. No registration is required. The initial password is “Muni.” (No quotation marks. Not case sensitive.) We commissioned a study and the NSA ensured us that this is a completely unbreakable password.
It seems likely that we’ll experience a number of glitches in connection with the roll-out of the new website and newsletter. As you know, we’ve had a number of issues with the service that compiles the newsletter. It may take us a few iterations to get it right. We apologize for any impending inconvenience. Please let us know if you are experiencing any problems on your end, as certain glitches show up only on formats to which we do not have access (e.g. Windows).
Thank you for your continued support!
