Coalition for the Advancement of Regional Transportation alleged that the Federal Highway Administration and state agencies (the “Defendants”) failed to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act and violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 when they approved the LouisvilleāSouthern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project, a $2.6 billion construction and transportation management program designed to improve mobility across the Ohio River in the Louisville metropolitan area.
The Court of Appeals granted summary judgment to the Defendants, finding no NEPA or Civil Rights Act violations.
