Upon arrival, one of the men was bloodied and lying unconscious on the ground. The rookie officer observed the ambulatory combatant walk up and kick the unconscious guy in the head. Hardly sporting, that. What really got the officer in trouble was his statement to the perpetrator that, “You did what you got to do to get your property back,” and then asked him if he had ever considered being a professional fighter.
