City of Bonney Lake ruled this week that a hearing examiner’s finding that owner’s dog (Scout) killed neighbor’s cat (Oriel) without provocation was not supported by substantial evidence, as required to uphold dangerous dog designation. Dogs everywhere are shocked to learn that the mere existence of cats does not constitute provocation per se.
